Nov. 16th Gateway In the Bantam division, the Equipment Room Flames played the Floral Park P.B.A. Wolfpack. The Wolfpack started the scoring on a backhand by recently acquired Ryan Grant, who coach Mulhall pulled out of retirement for big bucks. The Flames countered with Drew Viscusi as he went end to end for the goal. Garrett Conti used his speed to bypass linesman Joe Monahan who fell over the blue line and got through the opposition for a goal. James D’Amico, on an unbelievable angle from the corner, scored. James Connolly stole the puck and passed it to Danny Anacrelico , who blasted a slap shot into the right corner of the net. Brandon Franklin did a great job of bringing the puck up and shot on net and Andrew Viscusi tipped it in to put the Flames up 6-1. Great fore checking by Ray Saccone led to Kevin Korol passing it to Conor Doyle who wristed the puck into the net. The Mulhall girls, Carrie and Grace, did a great job defensively, constantly clearing the front of the net. Kevin Konzelman recorded 40 saves for the Wolfpack. Steven Prizzi scored on a pass from Michael Tangredi, to cut the Flames lead 5-3. Mike Ost stepped up with a few breakaway saves and Alex Munro consistently muscled players out of the crease. Garrett Conti added two goals to complete his hat trick as the Flames won 7-3.
