            In the Juniors, The V & A Gourmet Deli Monarchs played the Floral Park Motor Lodge Americans.  For the Monarchs, Kevin Dunbar recorded 5 goals and added an assist while Andrew Gateson had 2 goals, Matt King had 2, Jaime Gateson had 1 and Joseph Canosa also added a goal.  Fine passing in setting up goals by Tyler Perge who had 3 assists, Anthony Zlata who had 2 and Andrew Gateson who added  4.  In the net, Joseph  Tholl recorded 29 saves.  For the Americans, Bryan Collins had 3 goals to go along with 2 assists, Ricky Sharkey added 2 goals, Timmy McQuade  had an assist as Justin DiCristafalo added 2 assists.  Kyle Christian saved 24 shots but the Monarchs won 11-6.

            The Ciros Pizzeria SoundTigers went chest to chest with the Green Gardens Phantoms.  Joey Chalmers put the Phantoms up on fine passing by Michael Creighton and John Guidal.  Henry Hughes added another on a fine pass by Mike Watts and Mike Mulhall.  Matt Watts tipped in a Dominick Reda blast as Joe Penteck scored for the Ciro Pizzeria SoundTigers to tie the game.  Joe Penteck added 2 goals both set up on fine passing by Matt Watts and Vinny Prizzi scored on a backhand off a Sean Greene pass to put the SoundTigers up 5-2.  Michael Creighton set up Joey Chalmers to close the period 5-3.

Joe Penteck lit it up again for his fourth and fifth goal on fine passing by Andrew Meisel and Matt Watts.  Michael Mulhall scored for the Phantoms to cut the lead 7-4.  Michael Creighton one timed a shot on a fine pass by Joey Chalmers to cut the lead 7-5.  David Siebold was on for the Phantoms as he stopped 63 shots.  With 1:08 left in the game, Joey Chalmers recorded his hat trick but Desmond Zantua stayed solid and recorded 40 saves as the SoundTigers beat the Phantoms 7-6.
